Europe has managed this year to beat the previous record of televotes number, so over ten million televotes were received during the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, according the European Broadcasting Union and its voting partner Digame.
During the two Semi-Finals and the Final, 6,162,749 text messages came in and 4,517,933 calls were made to cast a vote.
With 8,825,527 calls and text messages received in 2008, this year's Eurovision Song Contest saw an increase of over 20 %.

Europa a reuşit anul acesta să doboare recordul anterior la televoturile date, astfel că la Eurovision Song Contest - Moscow 2009 peste 10 milioane de televoturi au fost date, potrivit EBU ( European Broadcasting Union) şi partenerului de vot Digame.
Astfel că anul acesta au fost 10,680,682 de televoturi, în creştere cu 20% faţă de anul trecut când au fost primite 8,825,527 de apeluri şi mesaje.
În cele două semifinale şi în finala de anul acesta au fost primite 6,162,749 de sms-uri şi 4,517,933 de apeluri.
