ESC Serbia: Milan Stankovic - ''Ovo je balkan'' (VIDEO)

Milan Stankovic, will represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest - Oslo 2010, with the song ''Ovo je balkan'' (english: ''This is the Balkans'').

Milan Stanković is a singer from Serbia. Milan started his career taking part in Zvezde. The song was composed by famous serbian composer Goran Bregović.

Serbian broadcaster RTS decided this year to change the format of how they choose their entry, replacing the traditional and very popular show, Beovizija. The reasoning behind this was what RTS described as the financial constraints involved in hosting such a large-scale event. Nevertheless, Serbia were determined to soldier on with finding a quality act to represent them at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Oslo in May, according to eurovision.tv .

ESC United Kingdom: Josh Dubovie - ''That Sounds Good To Me'' (VIDEO)

Josh Dubovie will represent United Kingdom this year at the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song ''That Sounds Good To Me'', written by famed Stock Aitken Waterman writers and producers Mike Stock and Pete Waterman.

From the age of 9, Dubovie performed with an after-school stage club. By the age of 15 he was playing Enjolras in a school production of Les Miserables. For this role he saw a vocal coach as he had no previous experience of singing. In 2008 he won the Blues Idol competition, and has also won Voice of St Lukes contest and Billericay's Got Talent. Dubovie won Eurovision: Your Country Needs You! with "That Sounds Good to Me". He said, "The minute I heard the song I thought it was a definite winner, I'm so happy I'm going to sing it in Oslo, according to wikipedia.

Giorgos Alkaios is a Greek pop musician. His career started in 1989 when he appeared on a Greek reality show. After a short period of stage acting, Alkaios dedicated himself to music. His first single, "Ti Ti," made him highly popular in Greece. He is known for his distinctive style combining Greek and Oriental elements with modern pop music. To date he has had 5 platinum albums and 9 gold albums, according to wikipedia.

Didrik Solli-Tangen will represent Norway, the host country of the Eurovision SOng Contest 2010, with the song ''My Heart Is Yours''.

"My Heart Is Yours" is a Norwegian pop ballad composed by Hanne Sørvaag and Fredrik Kempe. On 6 February 2010, it was selected as the Norwegian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, to be held in Oslo in May 2010. It won the Norwegian final by a landslide, beating the second place with almost twice as many votes.

ESC Armenia: Eva Rivas - Apricot Stone (VIDEO)

Eva Rivas with the song ''Apricot Stone'' will represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest - Oslo 2010.

The song was written by Karen Kavaleryan, and music by Armen Martirosyan



The Armenian national final was broadcast live from the National Opera Theatre in Yerevan tonight, and it was presented by Gohar Gasparyan and Khoren Levonyan. The show was opened by Inga and Anush, who had represented Armenia in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. Before the competing acts performed, Lys Assia, the winner of the first ever Eurovision Song Contest, in 1956, took the stage and wished all the participants the best of luck. Initially, ten songs had been selected for the final, but the song Never, performed by Sonya, was withdrawn from the competition, thus only nine entries remain, according to eurovision.tv

Daniel Diges will represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest - Oslo 2010, with the song ''Algo pequeñito'' (english: ''Something tiny'').

Daniel Diges García is a Spanish singer, pianist, composer and actor.

He began his acting career in a theatre company, Teatro Escuela Libre de Alcalá de Henares (TELA), in his native city, and after starring in several TV adverts, he rose to fame in the teen drama television series "Nada es para siempre" (1999-2000), playing the character of "Gato". Over the years he has also hosted children shows like "Megatrix" (2001-2002) and "Max Clan" (2003-2004) and has appeared in several TV series playing secondary roles: "Hospital Central" (2002), "Ana y los siete" (2003), "Aquí no hay quien viva" (2005) and "Agitación +IVA" (2005-2006).

He debuted in big productions of musical theatre in 2005, playing the roles of Colate in "En Tu Fiesta Me Colé" and Mario in "Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar". In 2007 and 2008 he played the role of Galileo in the Spanish production of "We Will Rock You", and he also starred in the Spanish stage adaptation of "High School Musical" as Troy Bolton (2008-2009). Since 2009, he playes the role of Sky in the Spanish production of "Mamma Mia!".

Sun Stroke Project & Olia Tira will represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest-Oslo 2010, with the song ''Run Away''.

Two semi-finals with 15 participating acts each had been held on the 27th and 28th of February to select the 14 finalists who competed in tonight's final. All three shows were held in Studio 2 of the national broadcaster TRM's headquarters in the national capital of Chisinau.

Iurie Gologan and Dianna Rotaru presented the final, while Lucian Dumitrescu interviewed the participating artists in the green room. During the interval act, the dancing group Teodor performed to hits of Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga, among others. As a special guest, InGrid performed during the show, according to eurovision.tv

Sâmbătă, 6 martie, Finala Selecţiei Naţionale, la TVR1

Ziua cea mare a venit: 6 martie 2010 reprezintă data la care ne vom alege reprezentanţii la Eurovision Song Contest 2010 , care se va desfăşura în Norvegia.

Astfel, sâmbătă, 6 martie, de la ora 14.20 emisiunea ''Ne vedem la TVR'' va fi transmisă de sub cupola Circului Globus, fiind o ediţie "la cald" din culisele marelui show ce va începe peste numai câteva ore. Publicul larg va afla cele mai importante aspecte organizatorice ale Selecţiei Eurovision din acest an, de la cei direct implicaţi.



La emisiune vor participa şi Olson Brothers, invitaţii speciali ai Selecţiei Naţionale Eurovision 2010, cu un interviu acordat în exclusivitate Televiziunii Române.
Seara, de la ora 21.10, TVR 1, TVR Internaţional şi pe site-ul www.tvr.ro va fi transmisă în direct Selecţia Naţională a concursului Eurovision 2010, coprodusa în premieră de Televiziunea Română şi ziarul Adevărul.

Valentina Pelinel şi Horia Brenciu vor fi prezentatorii showlui iar din Camera Verde, Gianina Corondan îi va ajuta.

Finaliştii Selecţiei Naţionale în direct, luni 1 martie, în emisiunea Eurofan

Luni, 1 martie, de la ora 21.10, TVR 1 va transmite emisiunea Eurofan, un program dedicat finaliştilor înscrişi în Selecţia Naţională Eurovision 2010 din 6 martie la Circul Globus.

Eurofan va fi mărţişorul-surpriză oferit de TVR celor 16 artişti şi trupe care au, pe parcursul acestui program, ultima ocazie de a fi împreună în faţa telespectatorilor, într-o transmisiune directă, înaintea concursului de sâmbătă.

Sâmbătă, 6 martie, TVR 1 va transmite Selecţia Naţională Eurovision 2010, un spectacol live la finalul căruia va fi aleasă piesa care va reprezenta România la concursul Eurovision în acest an la Oslo.

Piesa câştigătoare va fi aleasă de specialişti şi de telespectatori, în proporţie de 50 % televot şi 50% jurii de specialitate. În premieră pentru selecţiile Eurovision, pentru a se asigura o reprezentativitate naţională, TVR va organiza în acest an cinci jurii de specialitate: în Bucureşti, Cluj, Iaşi, Timişoara şi Craiova, formate exclusiv din specialişti (compozitori, muzicologi, interpreţi, textieri, realizatori sau producători de divertisment radio tv, regizori muzicali tv).

Biletele pentru Selecţia Naţională, s-au pus în vânzare

Începănd de joi 18 februarie s-au pus în vânzare biletele pentru Selecţia Naţională Eurovision 2010.

Aceasta se va desfaşura sub cupola Circului din Bucureşti sâmbătă 6 martie. Cei care doresc să-i vadă şi să-i audă cântând live pe cei 16 finalişti o pot face doar cumpărând bilet de la Casa de bilete a Circ & Variete Globus.

Biletele nu se pot achiziţiona sau rezerva telefonic sau on-line.

Valoarea acestora este de 30 de lei.

Programul casei de bilete este de miercuri pana duminică între orele 10.00 - 18.00

Chanée & N'evergreen will represent Denmark at theat the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest which is to take place in Oslo, in May, with the song ''In a moment like this''

Tomas N'evergreen (born Tomas Christiansen in 1969) is an international pop singer from Aarhus, Denmark. He currently resides in Moscow, Russia.

The song ''In a moment like this'', was composed by Thomas Gustafsson, Henrik Sethsson and Erik Bernholmis. The song was the winner of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix contest, held on 6 February, which selected the Danish entry for Eurovision

ESC Iceland, Hera Björk - ''Je ne sais quoi''

Hera Björk, with the song ''Je ne sais quoi'' will represent Iceland at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest which is to take place in Oslo, in May.

Hera Björk charmed the viewing audience most and got the biggest number of sms- and televotes and will thus be the Icelandic representative in Oslo with ''Je Ne Sais Quoi''.

She represent Denmark in the OGAE Second Chance Song Contest 2009 with song "Someday" and won the first place, and now she will represent Iceland, at the ESC Oslo 2010 .

Dejan Kukric, Head of Bosnia-Herzegovina Delegation, revealed to Eurovision.tv the date for the presentation of the song has been changed. If it was set to the 7th of March before, then now it's been postponed to the 14th of March. This makes it the last song to be revealed for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest.

Also Bosnia-Herzegovina, has reveale the lyrics for Vukašin Brajić's song Munja I Grom (Lightning And Thunder).

Sâmbătă, ediţie specială Eurovision 2010, la TVR 1

Sâmbătă, 6 februarie, de la ora 14.20, telespectatorii vor putea afla, în direct de la TVR 1, ultimele noutăţi legate de Selecţia Naţională Eurovision 2010, eveniment coprodus în premieră de Televiziunea Română şi ziarul Adevărul.

Pentru această ediţie specială, Marina Almăşan -Socaciu, coordonatoarea proiectului Eurovision 2010 şi gazda emisiunii Ne vedem la TVR a pregătit fanilor Eurovision numeroase surprize.

În emisiune va fi lansat un nou concurs pentru fani, finalizat cu premii constând în excursii gratuite la Eurovision 2010, aşa că sunt aşteptaţi în faţa micului ecran cât mai mulţi telespectatori pentru a afla detaliile privind participarea.

Tickets on sale, monday, 8th of February

Ticket sales for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest will take off on Monday 8th of February at exactly 9:00 CET. From that moment on, a total of 90,000 tickets can be purchased through Billettservice, both online as well as through their call centre.

Three categories will be made available (A/B/C);

• First Semi-Final (live!) - 25 May, 21:00 (doors open at 18:30 and close at 20:15)

Ticket prices: 600 (A), 450 (B), 300 (C) NOK

• Second Semi-Final (live!) - 27 May, 21:00 (doors open at 18:30 and close at 20:15)

Biletele se pun în vânzare pe 8 februarie

Luni, 8 februarie 2010, cele 90 de mii de bilete pentru Eurovision Song Contest - Oslo 2010, se vor pune în vânzare.

Singurul serviciu prin care se vor putea achiziţiona bilete este Billettservice, un site în limba norvegiană. Biletele se pot cumpăra atât online, cât şi prin telefon.

Sala va fi împărţită în trei sectoare, A,B,C, preţurile diferind de la sector la sector.

Preţurile la Concursul Muzical Eurovision 2010 sunt următoarele:

• Prima semifinală (live!) - 25 Mai, 21:00 (uşile se deschid la 18:30 şi se închid la 20:15)

Preţ bilet: 600 (A), 450 (B), 300 (C) NOK (Coroane norvegiene)

• Semifinala a doua (live!) - 27 Mai, 21:00 (uşile se deschid la 18:30 şi se închid la 20:15)

Preţ bilet: 600 (A), 450 (B), 300 (C) NOK (Coroane norvegiene)

• Finala (cea de-a doua repretiţie) - 28 Mai, 21:00 (uşile se deschid la 18:30 şi se închid la 20:15)

• Finala (cea de-a treia repetiţie) - 29 Mai, 13:00 (uşile se deschid la 10:30 şi se închid la 12:15)

• Finala (live!) - 29 Mai, 21:00 (uşile se deschid la 18:15 şi se închid la 20:15)

Eurovision 2010 va avea loc pe Telenor Arena, la 15 minute de centrul capitalei norvegiene, Oslo.

This Sunday, Host Broadcaster NRK and the EBU proudly present the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest Semi-Final Allocation Draw.

During the Semi-Final Allocation Draw, it will be determined which countries will be represented in which of the two Semi-Finals of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Who will conduct the draw is still Oslo's biggest mystery...

The five pots look like:

• Pot 1: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland
• Pot 2: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden

Eurovi-zâna a fost aleasă mascota Eurovision România 2010

O bucureşteancă de 50 de ani este câştigătoarea concursului de mascote pentru Eurovisionul din acest an. Juriul a avut o misiune dificilă, aceea de a alege din peste 300 de propuneri trimise din toate oraşele ţării, potrivit tvr.ro

Creaţia desemnată câştigătoare se numeste Eurovi-zâna, iar creatoarea va fi răsplatită cu 500 de euro.

Horia Brenciu şi Valentina Pelinel, prezentatorii Eurovision România 2010

Valentina Pelinel va prezenta, alături de Horia Brenciu, Selecţia Naţională Eurovision 2010, care va avea loc la 6 martie, la Circul Globus din Capitală. Pentru publicul care doreşte să participe la evenimentul organizat de TVR şi „Adevărul“, vor fi puse în vânzare bilete.

Cei care se ocupă de eveniment încearcă să obţină vot gratuit pentru românii care optează pentru piesa preferată şi vor să ţină spectacolul în afara studiourilor televiziunii.

Potrivit unui reportaj dat de Marina Almasan, coordonatorul de proiect pentru selecţia naţională a concursului Eurovision Song Contest 2010, anul acesta vom vota gratuit la selecţia naţională-citeşte mai mult
